T.J. Drops Out Of July 17th Fight
T.J. Ball will have to drop out of his June 17th fight with Danny Surface. T.J. fractured his leg while vacationing in Mexico. A few more details are provided in the below video from Jason Appleton. T.J. is planning on fighting in November, check back often for details. Best of luck to Danny in his professional debut.

Roger Bowling Wins In Portland
Roger Bowling delivered an impressive StrikeForce debut earning a unanimous decision over Bobby Voelker and moved to 8-0 as a professional.

7-0 MMA Big Show Champion "Relentless' Roger Bowling will be making his Strikeforce debut. Friday May 21st, Roger will be facing 21-7 Bobby Voelker at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, OR. This event wiill be LIVE on Showtime.

T.J. Is Confident of a Full Recovery From Knee Surgery
The 34-year-old went under the knife on 3/3/10 to repair tendons in his left knee.
“Before the operation we thought it would be difficult for me to return this year,” Ball admitted. “But, during the operation we have seen that there was still a piece of ACL attached, so hopefully that recovery will be shorter."
Along with a ripped ACL, T.J. sustained a torn meniscus and PCL during his pro debut at Triple Threat. It will be a long road to recovery for Ball and there has been no talk of a setting any return dates; although his return to the cage seems imminent with his final comment, "You know I can't go out like that."
We all wish T.J. a fast and full recovery.
